Marcus is a Vice President at isaac, where he heads up the Private Equity sector. He brings a wealth of experience working with PE houses of all sizes, and is known for delivering fast, innovative results for a diverse range of portfolio companies, from consumer goods and manufacturing to service based businesses. Since joining isaac in 2008, Marcus’s ability to drive bottom-line profit gains, and shareholder value through operational improvements has made him a sought-after resource.
Applying a keen analytical approach to every project he leads, Marcus has delivered measurable successes that include helping a manufacturing client achieve over $1.1M in material savings in a single week, as well as working with a food and beverage client to see over 40% capacity improvement on two packaging lines in less than a month. He’s also led the charge on large-scale, transformative projects such as fundamentally redesigning manufacturing processes for custom automotive builds to increase a client’s labour productivity by 30% and overall plant output by 50%.
Marcus exemplifies isaac’s belief in working hands-on with our clients and their employees from the shop floor to the boardroom. His track record of delivering performance improvements shows that this collaborative approach leads to the most successful projects.
Marcus holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where he is also a guest lecturer. He is a member of several industry associations including Canada’s Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (CVCA) and Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).
